Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO)

A sun-synchronous orbit is an orbit in which the spacecraft passes over any given point on the planet's surface at the same local solar time.

One notable benefit of a sun-synchronous orbits is that, over the span of a year, it is guaranteed to pass over every single point on Earth.
