Heater Latching Current Limiter (HLCL)

A Heater Latching Current Limiter (HLCL), is a type of Latching Current Limiter (LCL) protecting one-or-more heaters.

An HLCL has the same function as an LCL, but given that the heater load is purely resistive, its performance requirements are relaxed.

Outside of the ECSS standards and handbooks, the term sees relatively little use.
