The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) is a multi-national forum for the development of communications & data systems standards for spaceflight.

It includes NASA, ESA, JAXA, ROSCOSMOS, CNSA, and the main national space agencies.

Standards developed by CCSDS generally focus on the interfaces between different units on the space craft, or between the spacecraft and the ground.
